Hi there!

My name is Samantha Logan. I'm a professional illustrator & graphic designer.

After graduating with my B.A. from James Madison University and paying off all my student loans within 4 years (#adulting), I taught myself graphic design so I could use my Studio Art degree at work. Once I landed a full-time graphic design position, I took up a daily sketchbook practice and have been illustrating ever since.

While I work primarily in digital media (gotta love that undo button!), I adore traditional media and strive to replicate my traditional techniques in my digital work. I'm drawn to vivid color palettes, rich textures, and whimsical subjects with a dash of humor. My top sources of inspiration are animated movies, video games, and the natural world. I’m especially fond of drawing little ghosts. Imagining what these spooky spirits might be up to outside of their Halloween haunts always makes me chuckle!

When I'm not making art, I'm taking part in rock climbing, archery dodgeball, off-roading, dinner parties, investment meetings, and weekly date nights with my husband. My go-to cuisine is Vietnamese food—so fresh and flavorful!
